Randall’s public calendar

After college, I headed to Hollywood, where I worked for four years on commercials, music videos, and election ads (the Governator – Arnold himself) while honing my screenwriting skills.

During law school, I fed my passion for public service. I worked at the Ramsey Public Defender’s Office for a year, handling everything from traffic offenses to assisting on a murder case. I drafted a defense motion as part of the defense of Guantanamo Bay detainees, and wrote a research paper on the perils of plea bargaining in the criminal justice system.

I also pursued a concentration in Labor & Employment, and served as a research assistant for noted Employment Law Professor Steve Befort. As part of my concentration, I wrote a research paper on the 2008 amendments to the Americans With Disabilities Act, and worked in the Special Education Clinic, advocating for individuals with disabilities.

Present

• The Glover Law Firm, LLC – consumer rights litigation, including debt collection abuse, bankruptcy, landlord-tenant, fair housing, and equity stripping; estate planning

Past

• Ramsey County Public Defenders Office – represented indigent clients in Ramsey County District court, including misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors, and felonies
• Dudley and Smith, P.A. – business litigation, family law, criminal defense, personal injury, and appellate litigation
• Foley & Lardner, LLC – retained as expert witness on Marvel Comics, assisted in pre-trial discovery that led to settlement
• Ervin, Cohen, & Jessup, LLP – retained as jury consultant for multi-million dollar copyright infringement case, provided substantive commentary on relative strengths and weaknesses of case
